The Tameside Umbrella Parent Carer Forum (TUPCF) marked a significant milestone by holding their first Family Fun Day at the Grafton Centre in Hyde on Saturday, 27th September.

Local schools, parent carer forums, and a range of community partners have been thanked for their contribution to the co-production of Tameside Council’s refreshed Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Strategy for 2025-2028.

A former primary school in Denton could soon be brought back into educational use, this time as a specialist setting for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), if new plans are approved.

On Friday 10th January 2025, the Tameside Umbrella Parent Carer Forum (TUPCF) held its highly successful official launch event at Dukinfield Town Hall.
